Mountain River

This dry river bed in the Southern Alps of New Zealand is at about 5000 feet above sea level. The only water that feeds it is from the melting snow above.

G'day, Morris here from 'The Greatest Blog Experiment,' I've just added your three blogs- theres some great there.

I like this blog especially, as I went to NZ back in 2004 after finishing year 12. It was a school trip, although very casual, about 20 people for 2 weeks in the south island- adventure style. The views there are absolutely stunning and I intend to return again in the future.

We visited franz joseph glacier, pancake rocks, queenstown, walked the routeburn track, kayaking... somewhere... and I got some awsome photo's too.

I'm from Adelaide, Australia by the way.

Keep up the good work.

Morris
