Mountain Peak
This piece of rock does not seem significant at first glace. But, when you consider it is at 7000 feet, and is in the middle of a mountain range in the South Island of New Zealand, it is more than likely that there has only ever been less than half a dozen people who have ever stepped foot on it. Magnificent!

Sleeping Giants
These mountains are south of the Wairau River Valley in the South Island. It is hard to put the size of these mountains into perspective in this photo. To give you an idea, it is about 6000 feet to the valley floor from where I took this photo. The water area of the river at the bottom is about 50 feet wide.
